I am a Senior Researcher at ByteDance's Software Engineering Laboratory (a.k.a. TRAE Research), focusing on LLM4Code research, where I closely collaborate with Dr. Chao Peng and Dr. Pengfei Gao. I received my B.E. (2018) and Ph.D. (2024) degrees from the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Beihang University (SCSE, BUAA), advised by Prof. Xudong Liu and Prof. Xu Wang. During my doctoral studies, I had the privilege of collaborating closely with Prof. Hongyu Zhang from Chongqing University.

My research has been published in top-tier venues such as ICSE, FSE, ASE, ACL, and TOSEM. I received the ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award at ASE 2023, and I will serve as the Proceedings Chair of AIware 2026. My research interests lie in leveraging Large Language Models and AI Agents to enhance code-related tasks, including code generation, bug reproduction, fault localization, and automated program repair. Recently, I am particularly interested in context management for AI Agents in software engineering tasks, including high-precision context retrieval, effective context compression, and long-term memory management.
